You made a wonderful choice when you chose Lakewood for home. Lakewood is a private Homeowners' Association of 618 single-family homes. When you closed on your purchase, you became a member of the Association. (See Home Abstract).
Lakewood offers 6 parks totaling over 30 acres, 170-acre Lake Colchester, Swimming beach, 2 parks with sheltered picnic areas. Gazebo Park can be reserved for groups up to 30 ppl. 60 Marina docking spaces. Overnight camping Spaces. Fishing from a boat and 6 different locations, any resident can fish from a fishing dock.
Stop in the office at (8700 Sunset Dr.) meet Staff, Pick up a copy of the Rules & Regulations, Fishing & Parks Map, Update Contact information, Register Watercraft, and ask specific questions.
Annual homeowner's assessment fee of $280 is not optional; and payable in full January 31st each year. Assessments are explained further in the Covenants, governing our community.
Annual Assessments Pay for Maintenance and Upkeep of All Lakewood Common Properties including; 5 Acre, Sunset & Powerline Park. The Marina, Swimming Beach, and Volley Ball Courts.
